Adaptive diagnostic — placement prototype

137 pre-apprenticeship KCs · 36-item budget (~27 min) · outputs BKT priors idle
Fill in the experience inventory and start the diagnostic — probe questions will appear here, one testlet at a time. Or run a persona to watch a full session.

Probe

unlikely unknown likely mastered (seeds ≥0.60) probed skipped · cold = opened with misses, left low  ·  skipped · verified = claimed + tested clean, credited  ·  click a dot to open that KC in the graph

Diagnostic item authoring

View, explore, and edit the seed item bank — edits apply to the diagnostic immediately and are kept in this browser
Select a knowledge component to view or edit its diagnostic items. KCs marked 0 have no authored items yet — the diagnostic simulates outcomes for them. The 20 seeded KCs are the spec's high-information hinges.

Your path to power.

Grid Corps is a mastery-based pre-apprenticeship in the electrical trade — guided by AI, aligned to the national NCCER standard, and built to place you in a paid apprenticeship. A skilled career and a real license, without the debt.

NCCER-ALIGNED CURRICULUM MASTERY-BASED — NO SEAT TIME $0 TUITION PAID APPRENTICESHIP TRACK

A program that starts where you stand.

Most programs make everyone sit through everything. Grid Corps maps what you already know on day one and spends your time only where it counts.

01 · PLACE

Prove what you know on day one.

Your first hour is a placement diagnostic, not a lecture. It maps 137 electrical-critical skills and clears you past everything you can already do. Experienced hands don't repeat the basics; newcomers get a track with no gaps.

02 · MASTER

Master every skill. Skip none.

The curriculum is a connected grid of skills, not a stack of videos. You advance by demonstrating mastery — on paper, in simulation, and at the workbench — and your track adapts as you go.

03 · ADVANCE

Finish with proof, not promises.

Industry-recognized NCCER credentials, documented hands-on sign-offs from licensed instructors, and placement support into paid apprenticeships with our employer partners.

How it works.

1

Apply

A short application — no test scores, no tuition. Admissions reviews every file and replies within a week.

2

Place

A 27-minute diagnostic finds your starting frontier across the skill grid. You get credit for what you already know.

3

Master

Your personal track through the grid, AI-guided and paced by you — evenings, weekends, or full-time.

4

Sign off

Hands-on performance tasks verified in person by licensed instructors. Nothing is credited that isn't demonstrated.

5

Advance

Leave with NCCER credentials and a placement path into a paid apprenticeship in Texas or California.

"A skilled trade. A real license. No debt."

Cohorts are small by design — every candidate works with an instructor who knows their name. Admissions are selective, and commitment counts for more than experience.

This prototype needs a bigger screen.

The Curriculum Lab is an internal desktop tool — the knowledge graph, 3D sim bench, and side panels don't fit comfortably on a phone. Open it on a laptop or larger display for the real thing.
